Lisa A. Thayer, NP-C, brings more than 14 years of experience as a nurse practitioner to the cosmetic medical industry. She offers clients Botox and dermal fillers, such as Juvederm Ultra and Ultra Plus, Vollure, Volbella, and Voluma. Lisa specializes in creating a natural, never-over-done look while providing clients with a comfortable experience. Her clients are most often pleased with her precise attention to detail and individuality and appreciate her gentle touch. Lisa received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and a Master of Science Degree in Nursing from Mount Saint Mary College, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and was also inducted into the prestigious international Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing.
Marissa Martínez-Thiele

Marissa is a trusted, sought-after skincare expert and medical aesthetician of the Hudson Valley. She brings over 12 years of experience to the aesthetic industry, working in some of New York City's best medical spas and cosmetic surgery centers. With a genuine and detailed approach to achieving ultimate results for her clients, her dedication to industry perfection continues to draw in clientele from the Hudson Valley to NYC and beyond.
Marissa graduated from the Hudson Valley School of Advanced Aesthetic Skin Care in 2006 and immediately started her aesthetic career in midtown Manhattan at one of the best medical spas. She has since continued her education through quarterly training and certifications. Her constantly evolving knowledge of the latest innovations in beauty -particularly laser- has made her the go-to clinician in her field. As a member of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS) and the Association of Skin Care Professionals (ASCP), her specialty is anti-aging skincare as well as corrective skincare through multiple medical modalities: chemical peels, hydrafacials, laser technology, energy-based devices including ultrasound and radiofrequency, and microneedling and L.E.D. Therapy (light-emitting diodes).
With this knowledge, she trains other clinicians and continues to share the best approaches to medical-grade skin therapies. Marissa feels that no two people are the same, and neither is their skin which allows her to customize specifically to each person's needs. She also has developed a "multiple procedure approach" for her clients to achieve optimal, more dramatic, and longer-lasting results. She loves to educate her patients on "skin fitness" and that their commitment to skincare is long-term, just like diet and exercise. She is also appreciated for her honesty and compassionate approach, respecting her clients' needs, and never steering them wrong. She looks forward to continuing servicing the Hudson Valley as the spa director of ASM for all your skincare needs.
In her free time, you can catch her teaching group fitness classes as her second passion and running after her two little ones, Joshua and Genevieve, with her husband Joshua.
Francesca Matthews
Francesca is a dual NYS licensed Aesthetician and Cosmetologist who resides in the Hudson Valley. She has an eye for aesthetics and beauty that brings great attention to detail with a very personalized approach for her clients. As a member of the Associated Skin Care Professionals, she is dedicated to staying abreast in the industry with her continuing education to provide safe and effective results. She trains alongside Marissa daily as well as outside of the office and is certified in laser hair removal, laser skin rejuvenation, tattoo removal, Emsculpt, Emsella, Ultherapy, Microneedling, chemical peels as well as a wide variety of facial treatments. Her warm and caring demeanor has allowed her patients the comfort of knowing they’re in good hands and she only has their best interest in mind.
In Francesca’s free time, she loves to spend time with her family as well as travel and explore.

Office Supervisor
Upon entering Advanced Skin Medspa, you will encounter a warm greeting from Michelle, our office supervisor, and patient relations specialist. Michelle has worked in customer relations for more than 13 years, and her goal is to ensure your experience with ASM is beyond your expectations. With a focus on leadership and quality care, she will make sure your questions are answered and that you feel & know you are part of the family at ASM.
Michelle is also certified in body contouring with Emsculpt NEO, Emsella and Trusculpt iD and can create optimal treatment plans for all whom she treats. She also continues her training along side marissa as well as traveling the country for continuous aesthetic education.
In Michelle’s free time, she likes to travel and spend time with loved ones.

Michele McCurry
Our Newburgh native Michelle started with ASM in 2021 as our front desk personnel. She is one of the warmest and kindest souls you’ll ever meet .
Prior to ASM, Michele worked for over 30 years as an IT specialist for the United States Military Academy and has been such an asset to our team.
Michele understands and respects each patients’ unique needs and her attention to detail reflects that. She is committed to making your experience at ASM rewarding with her gentle and welcoming approach everytime you visit our Newburgh location.
